What is the Aadhan’s Citizen Reporter Network?

Aadhan’s Citizen Reporter Network is a platform for individuals - whether they are writers, journalists or everyday citizens to share and publish news and Information on the Aadhan App (“Citizen Reporter”). If you have a passion for sharing news, this network gives you the opportunity to reach a wide audience and earn rewards for your contributions to us for the App.

A citizen Reporter must be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age. If your age is below 18 (eighteen) years, you are a minor and shall not eligible to report or receive any monetary gains from Aadhan.

How Does It Work?

Any Citizen Reporter can submit news articles and reports through our Aadhan App. Each submission undergoes a thorough review and verification process conducted by our editorial team before the publication of such news on the Aadhan App. All contributions that meet our quality and authenticity standards will be approved and eligible for payment by the Company in accordance with the terms in this Policy.

Registration Benefits

As a Citizen Reporter anyone can join the App and get an amount of Rs.100 INR as a joining bonus into their wallet from the Aadhan App (“Joining Bonus”). , However, this Joining Bonus shall only be redeemed by the Citizen Reporter when the payroll is processed by us. Further, to be eligible for this Joining Bonus, you must have at least 1 (one) approved content within 15 (Fifteen) days of joining the Aadhan App or you should have received the Joining Bonus into your wallet. Additionally, all payments, including the joining bonus, will be subject to applicable tax deductions.

Aadhan is offering 3 (Three) positions for individuals who are connecting with us and want to share the News, content and stories. Each role comes with specific terms and conditions.

What are 3 different Roles?

• Citizen Reporter - Anyone can join and get an amount of Rs,100 as a joining bonus into their wallet, and this amount can be redeemed only when payroll has been processed and this amount will get adjusted towards their approved contents on the App.
• Reporter - To Become a reporter a Citizen Reporter must have at least 500 (Five Hundred) approved content on our Platform.
• Sr. Reporter - To Become a Sr. Reporter on our App the Reporter Must be an active reporter for a continuous period of at least 1 (One) year with Aadhan; or such individual shall be eligible only on an invitation basis which shall be at the sole prerogative of Aadhan.
• Senior Reporters may receive additional incentives based on their contribution quality and consistency, at the sole discretion of Aadhan.

Content Term & Conditions

Aadhan is committed to delivering high-quality, factual news. To Make sure the quality of news is as per the requirements of the Aadhan, please follow the guidelines given below, in order to share the content on the Aadhan app.

Title Guideline

• News and Article Headline should contain at least 25 Characters.
• News and Article should not have misleading and/or inappropriate titles nor should it contain spelling mistakes.

Content Guideline

• News and Article should contain at least 75 (Seventy Five) Characters.
• News and Article should be factual, relevant and original.
• News and Article should not contain any offensive, derogatory, violent or religiously insensitive language.
• Submitted News and Article should be original and must contain first-hand information.

Quality Guidelines

• News and Article should follow 5WH1 Concept (What, Why, Where, Who, When and How).
• News and Article should have clear image and video.
• News and Article should be original and free from plagiarism and copyright violations.
• News and Articles must maintain a neutral and balanced perspective.

Copyright and Plagiarism Guidelines

• Any content found violating copyright laws will lead to immediate removal of the said reporter from the platform.
• Third Party content will not be approved and strict action will be taken by the Company against the reporter
• Personalized remarks, hate speech, or biased opinions in articles are not allowed.

Images Guidelines

• An Image and visuals should be relevant to the News story.
• An image should be an Original image and should not have been copied from any source whatsoever, be it open source or otherwise.
• Offensive, Explicit, and Non-Relevant images are not allowed

Videos

• A video in the news story should be Original.
• Low Quality and Non relevant video will not be accepted
• AI generated or heavily edited content that mispresents reality is not allowed

Advertising & Promotions

• A News Article should not contain any paid content, product promotions or self- pPromotions.
• A News and Article should not contain Religious Promotions of any kind, directly or indirectly.

Payment Policy

The Reporter Contribution feature has been temporarily disabled due to ongoing app-level updates.
Effective Date: 28 July 2025
Impact: Submission-based payments will remain paused until further notice.
A follow-up update will be issued once the feature is reinstated.

What is Exclusive for us?

The Piece of content, news or article which is only shared to Aadhan, The content should not be available on any other news channel, website or app. The content should be original and with good media quality.

Changes in the Reporter Community Guidelines

Aadhan reserves the right to update these Reporter Community Guidelines including but not limited to payment policy and procedure, and payment schedule periodically at its sole discretion and based on market standards and Company policy. Any changes will be posted on this page, and users will be notified of significant modifications. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
